The Fragility Fracture and Falls Audit Programme (FFFAP)

The RCP is authorised to run the audit programme, meeting all NHS information governance and legal security assurances and approvals required. All users can be assured that audit data is managed securely and in accordance with all legal regulations, NHS guidelines and protocols. Working with the RCP, as their authorised data processor, Crown Informatics is commissioned and contractually bound to uphold strict information governance in respect of:

• Data Protection Act 1998 (RCP Registration: Z708553, Crown Informatics registration: Z3566445)
• Section 251 of the NHS Act 2006 (CAG reference: CAG 8-03(PR11)/2013: formerly ECC 3-04(s)/2011)
• NHS IG-Toolkit Statements of Compliance (Crown Informatics reference: 8J157)
• Data Sharing and Transfer Agreements duly authorised by the data controller (HQIP)
• All staff handling patient data are IG trained and bound by confidentiality agreements.
